Chief Executive Officer
Tim was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Victoria Power Networks group of companies – which includes CitiPower Pty Ltd and Powercor Australia Ltd – in April 2013.
Prior to this, Tim was the Asia Pacific Regional Executive for GE Aero Energy, based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of GE Energy Infrastructure Australia and New Zealand.
His previous experience includes senior executive roles with AGL, Southern Hydro Pty Ltd and Alliant Energy Australia. Tim has also worked for BHP and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and has a Bachelor of Commerce.
Chief Financial Officer
Catherine was appointed Chief Financial Officer in April 2024. She brings a strong understanding of the energy and infrastructure sectors together with a commercial and strategic skillset from her background in investment banking.
Prior to her current role, Catherine was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in New York and most recently Managing Director and Head of Natural Resources, Energy & Infrastructure at Jarden in Sydney.
Chief Information Officer
Alex joined the Group in January 2018 and brings 25 years’ of experience in commercial and business-facing roles within corporate IT departments. He has specialised knowledge in business intelligence, customer relationship management, business process management, strategy and organisational design.
Alex has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Melbourne.
General Manager Network Services
Adam has more than 20 years experience working across Australia and Asia. Prior to his current role, he served as GM Service Delivery at United Energy, Head of Design and Delivery in Powercor and various senior roles in the consulting and renewable generation sectors.
Throughout his career, Adam has focused on the development and delivery of major power infrastructure projects, playing a key role in strategic project development for both the renewable and rail sectors as well as program management.
Adam has a degree in Electrical Engineering and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is driven by his passion for innovation and is dedicated to delivering infrastructure that is efficient and provides long term to the community.
General Manager Corporate Services
Steven joined the Group in February 2014 as Head of Procurement and was appointed General Manager Corporate Services in January 2024, he brings 25 years’ experience in commercial management, procurement, construction management, real estate, and business transformation.
His previous experience includes senior procurement and commercial roles with Telstra, IBM and Medibank and has a Bachelor of Business.
General Manager Corporate Affairs, Customer and Strategy
Scott joined the business in November 2013 to lead a company-wide transformation program. His current responsibilities include communications, marketing, business improvement, customer group service delivery, digital innovation and aerial services.
Previously, Scott was a management consultant with Ernst and Young, specialising in business transformation, customer experience and commercial management. He has undertaken similar roles with Telstra and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
General Manager Electricity Networks
Glen joined Victoria Power Networks in January 2016, working as General Manager of Beon Energy Solutions before being appointed General Manager of Electricity Networks in 2024.
Prior to this, Glen was the Chief Executive Officer of Simply Energy, and also held a number of senior executive roles with GDF Suez Australian Energy Group (Engie). He has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, having held senior business development and project engineering roles in Australia, USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
General Manager Regulation
Renate was appointed as General Manager in December 2016. She has more than 20 years’ experience in electricity infrastructure, including working for the ACCC, AER, and AusNet Services.
An economist by profession, Renate has highly developed skills in infrastructure business including revenue and market regulation, electricity innovation, developing commercial non-regulated business streams and customer engagement.
Renate is a strong advocate for customer outcomes and has been directly involved in cultural transformation of customer engagement and aligning business and customer objectives.
General Manager People, Culture and Legal
Peter joined the business in 2012 with experience in human resources across supply chain and logistics, FMCG, manufacturing and automotive industries – following a legal career in private practice. Peter has expanded his executive portfolio to encompass health, safety and environment, legal and company secretary.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons)/Economics, a Masters of Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
